I use it in some .243, .280 and .30-06 loads and use H414 data (after carefully work it up) with nearly identical velocities as indicated. Do be careful though...my 2700 is probably 15 years old. WebSep 13, 2024 · H414 (W760) is an excellent powder for full-power hunting loads with medium weight bullets in the .308 Win family of cartridges. I've used 414 as my main 7mm-08 powder, with 140 gr bullets, for nearly 30 years. It is much closer to IMR4350 in burn rate than IMR4064 or 4895, so I don't consider it a ideal choice for M1 loads.
